GREAT EDUCATION STARTS WITH FUN
INSPIRE & MOTIVATE YOUR STUDENTS
Students are happiest and most successful when they are having fun. This is where Pretty in a Minute can help.
We provide a much-needed change-of-pace from the rigors of the daily grind of school. Even the best and most engaging schools and teachers become monotonus over time, so our Platform Artists bring a fresh perspective and new enthusiam that helps carry them through the coming weeks and months as they continue with their training.
Our Platform Artists are internationally experienced trainers. They not only help teach future professionals, but they inspire and motivate students. Students gain skills and confidence through exciting demonstrations as well as hands-on activities. We offer the tools and techniques they will need to succeed in and out of the classroom and we share our passion for the science and art of hair and beauty.
Best of all, these education sessions are completely free of charge to the school and to the students. It is our way of giving back to the community that we love so dearly.

ENHANCE YOUR BUSINESS
THE BENEFITS TO YOUR SCHOOL ARE EXCEPTIONAL
One of the biggest obstacles that school owners, school directors, and their instructors have is keeping their students engaged and enthusiastic about learning.
Pretty in a Minute’s Platform Artists excell at reviving the passion that students had when they first signed up for school. These industry stars excite and ignite enthusiasm in the students and faculty alike. Not only that, they reinforce the lessons their teachers have been giving. This helps students relate to their instructors better, and makes it easier for the teachers to teach. It is a win-win.
NOT SALES DRIVEN
FOCUSED ON THE STUDENT EXPERIENCE
One of the biggest fears that school owners and directors have is that an outside vendor will do a “hard sell” on their student. At Pretty in a Minute, we NEVER do that. EVER.
Our Platform Artists are exactly that: Platform Artists. They are 100% focused on the student experience and make sure that they have an amazing time. Yes, we will make our products available for purchase. But we offer exceptional discounts and additional (free) certifications that they love.
This is why over 99% of schools invite us back year after year. These schools see how much value we offer and can’t wait to have us back. Statistics don’t lie, and we are proud of that fact!
SHOW ME. DON’T TELL ME.

However, after high school, Guy followed in his father’s footsteps and joined the military, knowing that one day he would pursue his dream career in cosmetology. Once out of the military Guy did exactly that.

Executive Director of Education
I was born and raised in New Jersey, and have always had a passion for learning and speaking in front of groups. I realized at a very early age ( 6 years old ) that public speaking and educating were going to be major factors in my life as an adult.
A vivid imagination allowed me to literally see myself in front of crowds of people teaching, inspiring, and making them happy. I remember sitting the neighborhood children down, (who were my same age at the time) giving each of them a book, having them read aloud and helping them with pronunciation. I was also very much a girly-girl. My hair, skin, and clothes had to be perfect. I played with dolls and shampooed and styled their hair. After dressing them up in pretty clothes, where did they go? To school! And who was the teacher… ME!
Fast forward, I attended Cosmetology school, graduated and began my career as a young and excited hairstylist. Now 31 years later, I gratefully reflect on my Cosmetology career. Throughout my years I have enjoyed work as a stylist, salon owner, school instructor, skin and makeup specialist with Lancome Cosmetics, and National Educator for Nexxus and Paul Mitchell.
My current position as Executive Director of Education for Pretty In a Minute has brought each accomplishment in my professional career full circle. I get to pour into our amazing team of platform artist and build lasting relationships with awesome beauty institutions like yours!
Though I feel that I have the best job ever, I still believe that as a professional in the best industry in the world, evolution is constant and necessary to bring more value to where you currently stand. In 2017, I became certified as a Hair Loss Specialist through USTI. In 2018, I gained another certification as a Hair Loss Practitioner. In 2019, I will have completed my clinicals becoming a certified Trichologist. My reasons to continue my evolution? So that I may continue to grow and in some small way, be an inspiration to my industry family leading by example.
